A website of your child is a convenient way to keep friends and family up-to-date on the development of your child. This is ideal if they cannot visit regularly.

How quickly can my site be up and running?
You site will be up and running in a maximum of 1 working day but may be set up in as little as 1 hour.

How much does it cost to upload a photo?
It costs nothing to upload a photograph to your site once you have paid the initial set-up fee. You can upload to your site via your online control panel at any time you wish.

How many photos can I have on my child's website?
Each account is allocated with 3MB space for photos. This is enough for around 85 photos. If you require more photos added to your site additional disk space can be purchased for only £1.99 per year per 1MB.

If you reach your limit, instead of purchasing more disk space you can delete a photograph from your website and then add another.

How are photographs uploaded?
Photographs are uploaded to MyBabySite from your local computer. The photograph is then re-sized so that it is not too large for the screen. A thumbnail of the photograph is also produced. The original file remains on you computer - it is not removed.

What size files can I upload?
At the momtent the maximum file size you can upload is 2MB. The majority of digital photos would not be larger than this.

How often can I make changes to my site?
You can make changes as often as you like. You can also make changes whenever you like, as long as you have access to a computer with internet access.

Why do I have a seperate password for my ParentsLogin to the pink Login box details?
The pink Login box password is for friends and family so that they may view your childs details and photos. The ParentsLogin password is for you and allows you access to the online control panel with which you can upload photos, change details, etc. If anyone else had your ParentsLogin details then they could access your site and alter your details.

Can I choose my own passwords?
When your account is activated you are issued passwords which consist of random letters and numbers. You can change these in your online control panel - just remember to inform people you have previously told about your site that the password has changed otherwise they will not be able to access your child's site.
